About Miss Killinger
I began working at I CAN Schools in 2011, and am thrilled to be the Visual Arts teacher at the high school!
I graduated from the College of Wooster in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art. My specialty in college was sculpture, but I loved working with all different mediums. I received my Multi-Age Visual Arts license in the fall of 2009 after completing student teaching in grades K-12. My favorite activities outside of school are spending time with my family and friends, going to shows, creating art, running, seeing movies, and going to museums.
There are many reasons that I love being an art teacher. I like to teach my students how to use art as a way to communicate and think differently, and I love to see my students surprise themselves by how much they can accomplish when they truly try their best!
