Current Work
Right now, I work more with drawing. I have an Etsy shop where I sell custom micography drawings, called INQUEblot. I discovered that I love micography drawing after a lesson I did with one of my classes. Their results were so great, that I had to keep at it!
Independent Study Exhibit: Cryptohominology
My senior show at the College of Wooster was a series of Styrofoam and plaster sculptures. The sculptures were of beasts that represented extreme human emotions. I also created short poems to accompany each sculpture. The poems served to give a brief description of the beast, it's background, and it's extreme feelings, in hopes that the audience would be able to identify with each monstrous trait.
Junior Independent Study Exhibit: Family Trees
My junior show at the College of Wooster was a tribute to my family. I am very close with my family and enjoy observing the traits that have been passed down from generation to generation. My exhibit included six ceramic pieces sculpted from white earthenware that each represented a different attribute that I have connected between the six members of my immediate family.
Miscellaneous Work
These pieces were all completed during my course of study in college or independently. Some of them are the result of following prompts while others are self-directed. Although sculpture is my area of specialty, I have always enjoyed dabbling in various media!
